I need to have a working webcam on my brand new win 8. What is the real solution for this? It is being discussed all over the support forums. Some say that installing the win 7ĭriver on win 8.1 makes it work, but it did not for me. This webcam does not work on the 8.1 laptop either but it also works on my win 7 laptop. Similarly, when I upgraded my laptop from Win 8 to 8.1, its integrated webcam would not work. I had the same problem with the Logitech webcam before and after spending hours trying to make This included uninstalling, regedit to removeĪny vestiges of the previous Logitech webcam (same symptom), installing in compatibility mode for win 8, win 7 or win 7 driver straight or in compatibility mode. I tried all the remedies in all the wikis, blogs and forums. The mic worked, but the cam does not with Error Code 19. I plugged it on and the upnp seemed to work. I have win10 and a new LifeCam HD-3000 (which, by the way, arrived as just the camera, no documentation, nothing but the camera and a 'product guide' book which is NOT a guide at all and no cd with any software). I just received the LifeCam Studio today.
